As the owner and founder of Givens Fire & Forestry LLC, Samuel Givens brings over seven years of nationwide wildland firefighting experience and a deep commitment to protecting homes and communities from the devastating effects of wildfires. Based in Montana, Samuel has served in multiple critical roles throughout his career, including Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5), Crew Boss Trainee, and Certified Faller. His hands-on experience on the frontlines of fire management gives him an intimate understanding of wildfire behavior, forest health, and effective mitigation strategies.
Samuel’s passion for fire prevention and forest management extends beyond just extinguishing fires—he is dedicated to educating homeowners on fire resilience and creating defensible spaces to minimize risk. As a lifelong learner, Samuel continually hones his skills through ongoing training in forestry, fire prevention, and emergency management. His diverse skill set includes expert knowledge in risk assessment, project management, and crisis response, combined with strong communication and leadership abilities.
